In 1969 John and Linda Hofgraff purchased a 9 hole golf course named Trout Valley, measuring about 1500 yards. Their dream to have an 18 hole golf course began in 1973 when they opened the present 10th and 18th holes to lengthen the existing nine to 2200 yards. In 1978 they opened their second nine which John designed and constructed. The final stage of their plan was completed in 1980 with the construction of the clubhouse situated to provide a beautiful view of the course. Their main priority in building and desinging the course was to preserve the natural beauty of the trees and terrain which after your first visit you would see they achieved their goal. |
